螺栓拉伸器一般由液壓泵、高壓軟管、壓力表和拉伸體組成。其中液壓泵為動(dòng)力源，壓力表反映泵的輸出壓力，高壓軟管聯(lián)接液壓泵和拉伸體。拉伸體是實(shí)現(xiàn)螺栓拉伸的執(zhí)行元件。主要由活塞缸、活塞、支承橋和拉伸螺母組成。

工作時(shí)，動(dòng)力源輸出的高壓油經(jīng)高壓軟管輸送至活塞缸3，在壓力作用下活塞缸中的活塞上移，帶動(dòng)拉伸螺母向上移動(dòng)。拉伸螺母與工作螺栓螺紋聯(lián)接，從而拉長(zhǎng)工作螺栓，使螺栓伸長(zhǎng)達(dá)到所要求的變形量，變形控制在彈性變形范圍之內(nèi)，然后進(jìn)行預(yù)緊或拆卸作業(yè)，最后通過(guò)液力或者機(jī)械回位的方式使工作螺栓回復(fù)原來(lái)的形狀，完成作業(yè)。
